Upwaltham Barns Countryside Wedding – Will & Charlotte

A Countryside Wedding Tale

Will and Charlotte from the very beginning wanted their countryside wedding celebration to be something that would encompass all their loves. Their family and close friends, fun and a total love for the outdoors. So finding the gorgeous Upwaltham Barns tucked away amongst the hills of West Sussex was just what these two lovely souls had always hoped for. And it’s safe to say that their guests jumped at the chance to travel from all over to be able to witness such a special moment. It didn’t take long to realise just how loved these two truly are.

The day began in the stunning historic village of Petworth, with Charlotte getting herself ready with her close family and bridesmaids in a gorgeous Georgian town-house before moving on to the barn itself. While Will and his groomsmen were helping put the “finishing touches” to the barn, while getting themselves suited and booted, before all their guests excitedly began to arrive.

I have to honest, I’m a total sucker for a countryside wedding, and feel right at home photographing in that gorgeous fresh air. But alongside feeling right at home, the beauty of it being tucked away in the countryside means we were not only spoilt with a wonderful space, but treated with everything that comes with it; blooming flowers, peace & quiet and access to rolling hills directly behind the venue, giving us some truly jaw-dropping views that we made the most of for their wedding pictures.

This was an epic celebration!! And what started with a chance viewing on a dating app, quickly turned into a few incredible dates, and then into the truly inseparable couple you find now, loved by so many. Charlotte & Will have been such fun to hang out with, and have a wedding story that has been real pleasure to document! I can’t even begin to tell how much I wish they have the most incredible adventure through life together.

A massive congratulations!
