Leeds Castle Summer Wedding – Marie & Adrian

Who doesn’t love a castle wedding?

The day when a wonderful couple get in touch all the way from China (where they currently teach) about their summer wedding plans in the stunning Leeds Castle, in the heart of Kent, is a damn good one!! And my word, what a story these two had to tell, literally covering all sides of the globe!

I mean, believe it or not, these two souls actually met while separately travelling the world, pretty fitting considering they’re from opposite ends of the planet. Marie, from lovely Canada, and Adrian from here in the UK. So with wedding guests literally travelling from all over, and from different chapters of their story together, to all meet in a setting like this was mighty fitting! Not only for the serious wow-factor, but with it being a summer wedding, it meant that every flower in sight was fully in bloom, giving those little pops of colour which quite frankly made the jaw uncontrollably drop. Marie & Adrian, wanted their day to encapsulate as many parts of their story as possible, so with their table plans all depicting a different part of their tale, and favours coming with them from China, they absolutely nailed it. The rest of the talking could be done simply by the stunning surroundings the guests were surrounded by; roaming peacocks doing their thing, the soft buzz of excited tourists in the distance and sun warming things up nicely… yep, pretty perfect!

Being part of days like this truly are just something else. A wonderful laid back view on everything, just wanting to relax and spend time with close friends and family, how it should be. And to the soundtrack of belly laugh after belly laugh filling each room, from the moment the getting ready began to the moment the evenings music fired up. Their story has been an epic one to be a part of, and it’s official, I miss them! Congratulations guys!!!
