Late summer bliss!
When the winter chill is in the air, and everyones pretty much jumping at the chance to get back inside and in front of any source of heat (turned to max), I thought it’d be the perfect time to remember how that summer warmth looked. And with the vibrant colours bursting for attention at the Secret Garden tucked away in the Kent countryside, Siobhan & Mickeys wedding would do just the trick! And my word a wedding that will also live long in the memory at being just downright awesome!!
From the moment I first met these two lovely people at Kent University where they both work, over a nice coffee, it immediately clicked that this was going to be something pretty special, and a massive honour to photograph for them. The story, their wicked personalities and also the awesome vibe they both really wanted to achieve. In short, they wanted their day, not only to be one almighty celebration, but also, an amazing space to relax, let the hair down and just have an epic amount of fun! And my god, talk about knocking it out of the park… wow!! And I mean that literally, especially when 50% of their guests got the competitive vibe and opened up the cricket set, ha!
I still have to pinch myself that I got to be apart of this gorgeous summer celebration, and I could honestly talk your ear off about every single detail of the day; the gorgeous airbnb where they all got ready, the flowers in bloom, the outdoor garden ceremony, but, you know what.. sometimes it’s just easier to let the pictures tell the story of something quite so incredible!! Siobhan & Mickey, you have been just something else to work with, and so cool to have made two awesome new friends!!
2019, you have quite literally spoilt me with so many amazing weddings!!
