Countryside Pre-Wedding – Jaz & Steve

Sunshine mornings & Pre-wedding bliss!

This is one heck of a milestone of a blog post. And not for a reason I ever thought would effect me personally, but that of the crazy global pandemic we’ve all been effected by.. yeah that. Being out and about exploring, photographing and hanging out with such awesome couples is something I definitely took wayy too for granted.  So to find us all suddenly locked in for months on end, to try and help stop the spread of it all, it also hit hard because we were seeing all those carefully planned weddings and pre-weddings having to be postponed for the foreseeable. I even found myself taking photography creativity courses & webinars just to keep those creative juices and ideas flowing while we couldn’t get out. But then… the nod came! Being given the ok to meet with other people with all the social distancing.

I mean talk about about a relief. Although understandably the weddings needed to wait for the time when they can be celebrated properly, the pre-wedding bookings started to fill the calendars again! The excitement, the planning and knowing I’d get to share some epic story’s were about to happen again, woop!

So yes, back to why this is a huge milestone of a blog post. Because it’s kick-starting the post lockdown pre-wedding shoots with a crazy huge bang, woohooo!! And a stunning early morning shoot with Jaz & Steve that I have been absolutely craving to share with you for the last week! Like so many people, these guys have had a pretty rough time with the effects of ol’ Covid, but having an escape to the countryside to look forward to most definitely helps! We’d chosen a spot in the middle of the Kent countryside, and a spot I’d accidentally come across a while back on a hike… and yes the jaw dropped even back then. But throw an early morning sun rising over the wild meadow, and with dense woodland right next door, it’s super hard not to fall in love with a spot like this as a backdrop to an amazing couple! The laughter. The love. The connection. It literally flows in abundance with these two awesome souls, and to say I’m excited to do it all again at their stunning woodland wedding at a spot called The Dreys next year is the understatement of the year for sure, ha!

So sit back, grab a hot cuppa and enjoy these two having an absolute blast celebrating each other.

Jaz, Steve, thank you for being just so awesome!
