Do you ever wake up and wish you could be in one o

Do you ever wake up and wish you could be in one of your fave places like right now? I’m a bit of a dreamer so I get this a ton, but today… and I know you didn’t ask, but I’d seriously love to be back wandering the streets of Edinburgh again.. The early morning smell of malt in the air that you can’t help but adore. The knowledge that on literally every corner is some amazing coffee house serving up the best brews and snacks, all while cherishing some downtime with this lovely lady! So here’s the question, if you could be anyway else today, where would the dream place be?

The aim… is to always feel like this on your wedding day! Like you literally cannot stop yourself grinning all day long :) And it truly all comes from the planning! First up, picking your dream team of vendors to help tell your story. From the perfect location with a team that’ll look after you every step of the way, the incredible makeup/hair artists, the creative storytellers helping tell your tale in a way that has you feeling ultra comfy and beaming each and every time you look through your photos/video to mouth watering food and the toe tapping music. Doing the research, and making sure you gel with your A-Team will literally lift all your worries, knowing your trust can be left with them, and you can, quite frankly, celebrate damn hard!! Tell it your way. Throw traditions to the curb and make it yours.

That feeling of holding them tight… it’s pretty indescribable huh!?

Surrounding myself with endless amounts of photobo

Surrounding myself with endless amounts of photobooks feels like the name of the game at the moment. It’s something I’ve absolutely always loved, exploring past and present photographers and tapping into how they see particular scenarios through the lens of their camera. It’s something I’ve always loved about photography, the fact that a scene could be playing out in front of you, but every photographer will capture it in a totally different way, but the masters of the craft will tap into a different perspective you never even thought possible before! It wasn’t until I had a cracking mentorship recently, that I was given the advice to not only look at other photographers work as I’d normally do, but to think of it as adding to this mental locker of alternative perspectives that I would never have even thought about before, especially if I ever get a little stuck for inspo to create something a little different in the middle of a shoot. So this is where you’ll find me, a cuppa in hand, enjoying the slower pace and delving into way too many photobooks to really get the inspo flowing. :)

That feeling being surrounded by your closest frie

That feeling being surrounded by your closest friends on your wedding day is pretty indescribable! They’ve been through it all, and probably know you better than anyone. It’s something to definitely take into the planning element of it all. Make sure you both surround yourself with the souls that truly care and invest in you and your relationship. They’re the ones! The ones to cherish and celebrate with. The flakey, text once a blue moon kind (yeah you know the ones) …. Maybe give them a pass.
