Ok, one of the very very cool things about photogr

Ok, one of the very very cool things about photographing weddings… firstly, you really get to hangout and know your couples super well, with so many of them often turning into friends which I just adore!! Secondly, over the years you also get to work alongside some utterly epic vendors, some of which you just love and can’t stop laughing with (from makeup artists, hair stylists, videographers and of course the venue team), but others…. yeah, you get the picture *pulling a good ol’ cringe face*. But then this happens, one of those utterly epic vendors asks you to capture their very own wedding! Now I’ve had this happen a couple of times and quite honestly it blows my mind every single time. The amount of amazing artists and people they come across, and you’re the person they choose, yikes!
And so Kim, oh Kim, where to start… She’s one epic award winning hair stylist whose laugh you’ll hear the moment you park the car up…. In a good way, ha! And after months of excited chat, a pre-wedding shoot to kill for and plans that were going just right, some utterly horrific news landed from a few different angles, so much so that there was a worry the day would be overshadowed. But fast forward to after it all, and thankfully, with everyone pulling through, they both got the day they truly deserved and more whilst remembering the people they’d sadly lost!! Sun soaked, confetti covered doughnut strewn bliss!!

Epic water side cosy pub vibes, all the spring colours you could shake a stick at, a full on tattoo artist and two of the coolest souls you’ll ever meet celebrating one amazing commitment to each other! Well hey there *cue waving*.. It’s been a moment

Well hey there *cue waving*.. It’s been a moment hasn’t it!? To finally take a big deep breath at the year that’s literally shot by… seriously, where the heck did that go?! All those utterly memorable moments, mixed the moments you’d rather forget, but hopefully the year comes to a close finding you in a sweet spot and the end of it all, hopefully with time to rest and reflect on it all, obviously while chomping on a giant mince pie!! Yeah, that thing needs to be colossal.
The photography adventure through 2024 has been quite an interesting one. Becoming more and more confident in my work and exploring where I want to take my photography has massively been a part of it all. Behind the scenes it’s involved mentorships with truly incredible photographers from around the globe, Kaley from Kansas and & Cambria, this is a massive hands in the air to you for all the inspo and help! But also delving into so many other forms to of inspo to really try and help keep my storytelling truly as interesting and true to me as possiblle! But my word, both away from the camera and in camera, there is so much to dig into in 2025!! Seriously, you should see the weddings that are set and ready to go, each and every one is going to be a total feast to photograph!!

So yeah, having been photographing weddings for over 12yrs now *bloody hell*, landing myself in a place where I feel super happy with the journey my photography is on still feels like one almighty personal win. And my word, if you’d told the younger me, backpacking around the world with my little point and shoot camera and finding the love for photography, that I’d still be doing this for a living all these years later does bring out quite the smile! Getting the chance to capture so many of your just incredible stories will always be something I’m forever grateful for! So here’s a big shout out to YOU for all your support. It could be asking me to photograph your story, a single post like on here or however you like to cheerlead,I want you to know that it means the world. Woweeee!!! It’s time for a giant happy anniversa

Woweeee!!! It’s time for a giant happy anniversary to two of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet! So how could I not give this a huge repeat post!? How a whole year has passed is beyond me! The incredible countryside location, the stunning end of year wintery tones and surrounded by their favourite people who wouldn’t have missed it for the world! One of the happiest days to ever be a part of! Happy anniversary guys!!!

Ohhh I’ve been waiting so impatiently to create

Ohhh I’ve been waiting so impatiently to create a cool little deluge of images from Lucy & Tom’s epic celebration! From beginning the day in a beautiful lodge at @the_pig_hotels while Tom (being a farmer) drove his beloved tractor which he pretty much put together from scratch all the way to a church which held a special place in their family’s history. Once that oh-so special commitment had been made and the kilos of confetti had been thrown in the air, it was time for everyone to head back to their blissful countryside home which had been set up in the most amazing way! Feasting banquet tables, amazing blasts of colour from flowers all about and incredible music taking all their epic guests long into the night, with the sounds of it all echoing through the countryside.

Ok, i can’t deny, it’s feeling pretty bleak out there isn’t it!? Do any of us remember how the sun on your face actually feels, ha!? Ok I might be a little dramatic but thankfully, I’m coming in hot with another of my favourite stories from the year. Honestly, after really getting to know this awesome pair through all our prep, I knew their day was going to be nothing but absolutely grinning like the cheshire Cat kinda joy, and it truly didn’t disappoint! Being thrown the most stunning of golden sunsets piercing its way through the surrounding trees was literally the cherry on top! Guys, I give you some golden summer sun to warm the cockles and the stunning story of Kelsey & Tim.
